This smoothie kind of happened by accident. The other morning, I was very in the mood for a smoothie, so naturally, I looked around the kitchen for a banana (what I usually use as the base for all my smoothies). Only problem was: we were out of bananas. Instead of giving up on my smoothie hopes for the day, I just decided to make a smoothie surrounding the only forzen fruit we had left: mango. And just like that, this delicious, nutrient-packed smoothie was born and blended:
Ingredients & Benefits:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (low in calories, dairy-free, and a great source of vitamin E for glowing skin and immune support)
1 cup frozen mango (rich in vitamin C and antioxidants—boosts immunity and adds natural sweetness)
1 handful fresh spinach (loaded with iron, folate, and fiber—supports digestion and energy levels)
½ ripe avocado (creamy texture + heart-healthy monounsaturated fats to keep you full and support brain function)
1 tablespoon hemp seeds (packed with plant-based protein, omega-3s, and magnesium for muscle and mood support)
1 teaspoon ceremonial grade matcha powder (high in antioxidants (especially EGCG), gently boosts energy and focus without the jitters)
1 teaspoon coconut oil (provides healthy fats for energy and helps with nutrient absorption—especially fat-soluble vitamins)
1 teaspoon raw honey (natural antibacterial properties and a gentle energy boost—balances the earthy matcha and greens)
How to Make It:
Add all ingredients to a blender in the order that they are listed and blend until smooth and creamy. Be prepared to feel refreshed and energized, ready to take on anything that comes your way; it is seriously is the most perfect smoothie to start your day!
